Synopsis - Just Roommates

… I walked into the kitchen barefoot to have a drink of water, wearing only a pair of panties and my sleep shirt, a large t-shirt that reaches down to my knees.


I uncapped the bottle of chilled water to drink directly from it, only for someone to clear their throat to notify me of their presence. Out of reflex, I turned rapidly and poured out the contents of the bottle I was holding, almost emptying it at the intruder.


The intruder —a male intruder to be specific —hissed in reaction to the cold effect of the chilled water, I was almost befuddled because my brain was tricked by the exquisite beauty and handsomeness of this person, I mentally smacked my brain to think normally.


I then tried screaming, but the person was quick to react, covering my mouth with the big palm of his hand. I was almost drooling because of the proximity, and the cologne he was wearing was quite enticing. My next reaction was to kick him in the groin, which I succeeded to the point.


The man toppled over with a Yelp because of the pain he was in from my kick, I took an escape, practically flying my way up the stairs to my room, then locking the door behind me ...

Leah Henderson ends up becoming roommates with her best friend's stepbrother. Their first encounter as roommates wasn't conducive, especially for Peter O'Brien.

Will they be able to put that behind them and become the best roommates?

Chapter Four - Just Roommates

Peter The last time we met, I was still keeping a long hair and just a patch of beard on my chin, and wasn't as built as now. Well, maybe she would if she concentrated more on my eyes, but she's doing the opposite. "Oh! Isn't it Leah? We are about coming down your floor," the bulky guy says to Leah. She's still deep in thoughts — maybe, she hadn't spoken or moved an inch away from where she stood. "This is Peter O'Brien, the CEO of Cybernetics," he was trying to do some introductions, which from the look of it, I bet she wasn't listening.  "He'll be in charge of investigating and bringing out solutions to the cyber-attack," he paused for effects.
